Fighter Verses-- We continue the Fighter Verses Scripture Memory program this year.  Make sure to pick up a 2025 Bookmark which gives tips for Scripture memory and our verse for each week.  Memorizing Scripture is a great way to deepen your faith and grow in your discipleship in the new year.  

Our yard sale will be held on Friday, September12, 8am to 2pm and Saturday, September 13, 8am to 1pm Hotdogs and soup can be purchased each day.!

Sunday, September 7 & 14 - New Members Class - 9:45-10:45 a.m. (during Sunday School time)

Want to find out more about our church?  Join us for the NEW MEMBERS CLASS on Sunday Sept. 7 and 14 at 9:45 am (during Sunday School hour).   If you have recently joined the church, or if you are simply interested in finding out more about our church, check out this class.  We'll meet in Grace Hall from 9:45- 10:45 am for two Sundays.  For more information, talk to Pastor Natalie.

Fall Bible StudyContinues on Tues., Sept. 16 at 6:30 pm. 

Fall Bible Study- We'll be studying Long Story Short: The Bible in Six Movements, by Joshua McNall.  This will be a fun overview of the Bible as one long story from Genesis through Revelation.    All are welcome to join us for our Tuesday night Bible studies, so invite a friend!

Thursday, September 18 - GriefShare group will meet at Berea Christian Church, from 6 until 8 p.m.  A light meal will be served.  For more information, please see Debbie Kinder, Teresa Compton, or Fielden Sanders.

We now have a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Wytheville.  They are sponsoring a fundraising Banquet on Saturday, October 18 at 6:15 p.m.  Their website is:  https://www.prcsupport.com/banquet   Our church will be hosting a table at the Banquet, with Katy Porter as our Table Host.  It costs nothing to attend the Banquet, but guests are asked to make a donation.  Please contact Katy Porter at (276) 620-6317 to sign up as a guest.

Committees will need to meet within the next month in order for recommendations to be approved at the next admin council meeting on October 27. 

We are forming a Missions Team in our church.  If you are interested in guiding our church in its support of missions outside our church or are interested in going on a mission outside the church (though this is not a requirement), please email Pastor Natalie at PastorNatalie@gmx.com

Agape Food Donations

We are looking for Spaghetti Sauce & Peanut Butter this month. The basket is available in the Narthex for food donations. PLEASE NO GLASS CONTAINERS

Agape is now collecting plastic grocery bags and you may leave them in the Narthex beside the food donations.
